1. Do you travel for destination weddings or sessions?

Yes! Travel within 100 km of North Vancouver is included in all packages. I’m also happy to travel to Vancouver Island or other destinations for an additional travel fee — just ask!

2. What is your cancellation or rescheduling policy?

Session retainers (deposits) are non-refundable, but I understand that life happens. Sessions can be rescheduled multiple times due to illness or bad weather, within one year of the original booking.


Wedding cancellation/rescheduling policies will be outlined clearly in your signed contract.

3. Can we bring grandparents, relatives, or even our dog to the session?

Absolutely — bring the whole crew! Parents, siblings, grandparents, dogs, cats… anyone who feels like family is welcome. Just let me know who’s coming, and I’ll send you pricing details for an extended family session. We’ll make it joyful, relaxed, and full of real connection.

Yes, all sessions include a private online gallery with high-resolution digital images.

5. What should we wear for the session?

Neutral, solid tones always photograph best — think soft earthy shades, creams, beige, muted pastels, warm browns, and gentle greys. Try to avoid big logos, bold prints, or bright neon colors.


You’re welcome (and encouraged!) to bring a few outfit options, especially for little ones — outfit changes can be adorable and add variety to your gallery. Feel free to bring along hats, favorite toys, a cozy blanket, or anything that makes your family feel like you.

6. We’re awkward in front of the camera — can you help?

Oh yes. Most of my clients say the same — and then leave saying how fun and easy it felt. I’ll gently guide you through natural prompts so you feel relaxed, never stiff or staged.

8. Can we meet before the session?

Yes, absolutely — I love meeting in person over a cup of coffee (or tea!) to connect, get to know each other better, and chat through all the little details. It helps you feel more relaxed, and makes your session even more special. Let’s make it feel like friends hanging out — not just a photo shoot. 🤍

9. Do you retouch the photos?

Yes — I always apply light, natural retouching to enhance your images while keeping them real and true to you.


If there’s a temporary blemish, a stain on clothing, or someone blinking in the background — I’ll take care of it. I’m also happy to honor specific retouching requests, so don’t hesitate to ask.

10. How long till I receive the final photos?

I usually deliver final galleries within 3 weeks, sometimes even sooner — it all depends on my current schedule and workload. I always do my best to get your memories to you as quickly (and beautifully) as possible!

11.  What happens if my kids don’t cooperate during the session?

Totally normal — I have five boys myself, so believe me, I get it! I keep the session playful, flexible, and pressure-free. We take breaks, follow their lead, and capture genuine moments as they happen. Sometimes the “chaos” becomes the most beautiful part of the story.

12.  What if the weather is bad on the day of our shoot?

Living in BC means we sometimes have to dance around the rain! If the weather isn’t great, I’ll get in touch ahead of time to reschedule.


You won’t lose your deposit — we can move your session to another date within a year. Soft cloudy skies are beautiful too, but we’ll only shoot when it feels right and comfortable for you.
